UKTheatreGuides.com - the definitive guide to what's on at the theatre in cities across the United Kingdom. Originally starting off as Manchester Theatres.com, we expanded out to other cities and added Liverpool in September 2006, Birmingham in November 2006, Oxford in June 2007, Bristol in November 2007 and Edinburgh in March 2008. We are intending to add a new city every so often with Newcastle, Sunderland, Cambridge, Nottingham and potentially, London, are being lined up.

Our theatre guides have been set up so all our visitors can easily see current and future productions, shows and gigs in that particular city. We hope to be user friendly so it is easy to navigate from one page to the next, look interesting (not a database website with little information or no images on the shows), and more importantly, easy to buy tickets online. We also offer a quick search for hotels near the venue itself. We provide information about each of the theatres; how to get there and seating plans too. You can also join our mailing list which means you will be kept upto date with all the new productions that might interest you allowing you to be one of the first to know about new plays and getting a decent seat in the house.

UKTheatreGuides.com does not just concentrate on the large theatres in the city either, we create an 'other venues' page on all our theatre guides which covers all theatres and theatre groups in the local area. If you are a smaller theatre or a theatre group and want us to list you, contact us and tell us all about yourself and any website information. Please note that as some of our theatre guide websites are fairly new, the 'other venues' page might take a while before many of the smaller venues are listed.

Although we are a business, we are not in this for the money and trying to make money out of people. We do not charge big fees. Drop of us a line and tell us how we can benefit you. What can we do to promote your theatre and shows?

We can add you to our 'other venues' page, adding your theatre details - your theatre logo, your postal address, website address, email address, telephone numbers, book tickets online details, how to get to your theatre, etc...

We can also offer you the opportunity to have your current and future productions added to our theatre calendar which is visited by many of our online customers.

We are looking to promoted all our theatre guide websites so feel free to add us to your website, ideally, not just on your links page, but somewhere on your site where we'll be seen. We have many banners for you to choose from too on our city theatre guides - click on the city name to see our banners : Bristol, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Manchester and Oxford. If you'd prefer a different banner advertising our sites, we can make one for you to add to your site, custom made to fit your colour and look of website. Other ways you could promote our site would be to add us in your theatre programmes and basically 'word of mouth', telling friends to log on to www.uktheatreguides.com

WE ARE NOT A THEATRE, we are a website that promotes what is on in UK city theatres. If you have lost your brolly or need to know when a show finishes, your best bet is to contact the theatre directly.
